How To Apply BB Cream For Natural Results

BB cream is fairly simple to use, and you can follow this straightforward routine to achieve a flawless look. Remember that you can alter your routine based on your needs, such as if you’d like to apply extra sun protection or moisturiser, or if you’d like to use different brushes to apply.

Wash Your Face. First, wash your face with a gentle cleanser to prepare your skin. After you finish, dry your skin with a clean cloth.

BB cream has a moisturising effect, but if you’d like extra moisturisation, you can apply your moisturiser first. Apply your moisturiser and let it completely set into your skin before you continue. You can also use extra sun protection if needed.

Dot On The BB Cream. Put a half pump of BB cream onto a makeup palette or a foundation lid - it’s best to use one of these items rather than the back of your hand, because the moisture in the cream could soak into your skin and make your results drier. Then dot the cream onto your face, focusing on areas where you need coverage. We recommend using a makeup brush, as brushes apply more pressure. Remember that BB cream is buildable, so you should start small, especially if this is your first time using the product.

If you’d like to change the consistency of your cream, you can pump it onto your palette or lid and then mix it with a hydration spray. You could also mix it with another shade to further customise your results. Experiment with your cream and discover the right process for you.

Blend The BB Cream. Use a blending/contouring brush to gently spread the product over your face. Spread the cream evenly to protect and nourish your skin properly.

If you notice that you need more coverage after you’ve blended your BB cream, you can apply an extra layer and blend again. Repeat this process until you’re satisfied.

BB cream is light and buildable, but it may not be enough to cover harsh blemishes. Dab a bit of concealer onto the blemishes and blend it in.

Wait For The BB Cream To Dry. Our BB cream dries quickly, so you only have to wait about 30 seconds for it to set nicely. Your cream may have a slight yellow tint at first. Instead of continuing to apply, let the cream dry and settle into its true colour.

Touch-Up Your Look Throughout The Day. If you need to, you can carry some BB cream with you and apply tiny amounts onto areas that need more coverage or blending.
